About Bloom On Flower Farm LLC

Hello and welcome ! My name is Melanie Callenbach and I am the founder of Bloom On Flower Farm LLC. Ever since I can remember, flowers have brought me joy and inspiration. I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with plants as a career. I later went on to earn degrees in Horticulture from Temple University and Plant Protection (Integrated Pest Management) from Cornell University. In 2017, my husband and I had the opportunity to move from the Atlanta suburbs to a farm in North Georgia where I embarked on this wonderful adventure in farming. It is very rewarding for me to be able to use my knowledge and experience to grow specialty cut flowers and is a dream come true.

I grow a wide variety of specialty cut flowers including bulbs, annuals, foliage, and perennials. By purchasing locally grown flowers, not only are you supporting local farmers, but you are also helping to reduce the transportation carbon footprint.

I am passionate about growing my cut flowers using sustainable methods because I want my flowers to be pesticide free. I also want to be a good steward of the land, to protect pollinators, and the environment in general.
